I Want to Make a Difference

It happens to us all…we have days when we wonder if we really matter. If what we do has any meaning at all.

When I work with a dog that isn’t living a fulfilled life, and with the owners that are frustrated with their dog, the smallest changes make me smile.

I smile because I know that I’ve opened a door that wasn’t opened before. Suddenly it’s as if a light comes on in their brains, and they suddenly understand.

I can also see the sheer pleasure that the owner feels when they realize that their dog really CAN learn, really CAN change their behavior.

I show the dog that there really is meaning in words, movement and in the protection of the owner they live with. I help establish a trust between one of God’s creatures and a human being. I help people understand that a dog needs a pack leader, and teach them how to take that role seriously.

God has given me a talent, an insight into the dog world…their language, their eyes and their body language all have a story to tell. I want to understand that story and to relay it to their owners. I want to do it for the dogs…I want to do it for mankind….I want to make a difference…even if it’s just small ones….it really does matter! That is my calling and of that…I am sure.

Sometime in the near future, I’ll be looking for someone who is interested in helping me train and teach. If you’re interested, please contact me through the link provided.
